Yesterday was 44 degrees outside. Perfect opportunity to try out my Garmin that I got for Christmas. Since the temps have been so cold here, I haven't been doing much running. I laced up my shoes and headed to the park for an easy, late afternoon (4 mile) jog. I am amazed that 3 months ago I ran a marathon, and today I had to walk the last 1.5 miles back to the car. It really made me appreciate the fitness level that is attained training for an event. I have 8,000 other excuses for why that run sucked, but I won't indulge you in them today!
P.S. the loop at the park that I thought was 4 miles is really only 3.73 (per my GPS).
