I ordered a custom address stamp a few weeks ago, and finally received it today.
I know it is dorky, but I really love monograms.
Here is a picture from the website.
They have all kinds of really neat items: custom stamps, stationary, recipe cards, mailing labels, etc.  I am really happy with my stamper, I might have to see what other fun things I can find to try!

Swimming, Biking and Running!

Cody and I after the 6th Annual JCC Indoor Triathlon
February 13, 2010

I am happy to say that we have completed our first triathlon!
The swim was not as bad as I expected.  I am still really slow, but I didn't drown!
18 miles of biking (in place) is a really LONG time, and I was a little bored, but I made it through.
The running was, of course, the easiest part for me.  Even though I HATE the treadmill.
I thought it would take me about 2 1/2 hours, but my unofficial time was 2 hours and 5 minutes.
The official times won't be posted until Monday, so I will update then, and put up Cody's time as well.  He finished way before me

Superbowl Sunday

We had a great turnout at our last minute Superbowl Party on Sunday.  There was plenty of great food and fun, plus some good hearted competition between our Saints fans and our Colts fans.

We all really enjoyed the commercials, and as a group the favorite was the Dorito's commercial with the little boy.  "Here are the rules: #1 Keep your hands off my momma #2 Keep your hands off my Dorito's!" So cute!

This pic only took us about 10 attempts to actually get it right... so please ignore Jeremy trying to distract Cody in the background!

Weekly Update

My mom had knee surgery last week.  She did really well, and she spent the week at my house recovering. I really wish my mom didn't live so far away, it was nice spending time with her.

Workouts this week:
Mon: Stretching + abs
Tues: 3 mile treadmill run + 90 min power yoga
Wed: Body Pump strength training + 750 m Swim
Sat: 60 min spin class
Sun: 15 min Elliptical + 60 minute power yoga

I am really ready for spring to get here!  I am really enjoying all the body pump, spinning classes and swimming I am doing, but I am really missing my outdoor runs.  The treadmill is just plain torture!  I guess that means that I am not a REAL runner, or I would be bundling up and hitting the road huh?  Maybe if they would plow the path at the park, or it would just stop snowing I would go.  Maybe!

Hope everyone has a safe, healthy week!
